Christ at the Center

St. John Lutheran School is a Christian school dedicated to providing an excellent, Christ-centered education for preschool through eighth grade.  (Proverbs 3:5-6; 2 Timothy 3:14-15).

Our Little Lamb Preschool is a place where children hear the message of God's love and learn basic letters, writing, numbers, and social skills in a happy, secure environment.  Preschool learning takes place through play and class activities that promote the spiritual, intellectual, physical, social and emotional growth of the children enrolled.

At St. John's kindergarten through eight grade school, we provide a safe environment for learning.  Our skilled, caring teachers  use a variety of strategies to engage students' minds.  We have a multi-grade class structure for our kindergarten through fifth grade classes (K/1, 2/3, 4/5), which provides many opportunities for children of all abilities and learning styles to grow and be challenged.  Our middle school students change classrooms and teachers to prepare them for high school.

Band and certain sports may begin as early as fourth grade.  All students in kindergarten through eighth grade receive grade-specific art, music, and physical education instruction.

Above all, our focus is on teaching every subject with a Biblical worldview.  All students in kindergarten through eighth grade attend daily devotions, weekly chapel, and participate in class Bible lessons.
