We recognize that children do not all learn the same way, at the same pace, or come from the same background. We believe that skilled, caring teachers employing a variety of strategies can best meet the needs of our students.
Our elementary classrooms are organized with two traditional grades per classroom, with one full-time teacher and two additional resource teachers to allow for flexible, responsive groupings and instruction. Instruction is largely centers-based which encourages autonomy and self-pacing while allowing teachers to assess progress frequently and adjust to meet the children's needs.
Our Jr. High students change classrooms to encourage independence and prepare them for high school.
